It is always a rewarding day with the NSA boys!
The plant and tree identification sheets Jason printed off were a great success and helped them recognise and learn about many of the different species growing throughout our community garden.
Aiden and Marcus both commented on how relaxing they found the activity. It was a nice change of pace from the usual gardening tasks and gave them the opportunity to engage with the garden in a different way while still learning something new.
Jason did a fantastic job teaching the boys a different skill set, showing them that there are many ways to contribute to and enjoy the garden beyond hands-on gardening. Activities like these help build knowledge, confidence, and a deeper appreciation for the natural environment around them.
It was wonderful to see everyone growing, learning, and working together while developing new skills and strengthening their connection to the community garden.
