Sisters Who Sow Gets Off to a Fantastic Start!

Week One of Sisters Who Sow was a huge success! We couldn’t be prouder of the wonderful group of young women who came together to connect, learn, and get their hands dirty in the garden.

The session introduced participants to different weeds and plants, while exploring how fresh produce and edible plants can be used to create delicious, healthy meals. It was wonderful to see everyone learning new skills and sharing ideas in such a welcoming environment.

As the afternoon went on, the girls began to come out of their shells. New friendships started to form, conversations flowed naturally, and before long, the sound of laughter echoed down the corridor. It was a joy to witness the confidence, connection, and sense of belonging growing with every activity.

This is just the beginning of an exciting journey, and we can’t wait to see what the coming weeks will bring.

There’s still time to join Sisters Who Sow!
If you’re a young woman aged 15–30 looking to build confidence, learn new skills, make friends, and enjoy gardening and cooking in a supportive environment, we’d love to welcome you.
