Supporting Students After School
Looking for some extra support for your child’s learning? Lalor Neighbourhood House offers after-school tutoring for primary, secondary and adult students in a friendly and supportive environment.
Sessions are available Monday to Wednesday, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm, with each session running for one hour.
Students can access individual support or work in a small group of up to two students.
Tutoring is tailored to each student’s learning needs, helping them build confidence, strengthen their skills and keep up with their schoolwork. Support is available across a range of subjects, including Literacy, Numeracy, English, Maths, Biology, Physics and Chemistry.
Our tutors focus on what each student needs, with learning plans that can be adjusted as students progress.
Where appropriate, tutoring can also support school curriculum requirements and help students prepare for upcoming topics and exams.
