Bushra Is at It Again!
We’re always proud to see the amazing things our community artists get up to, and Bushra is at it again!
Bushra, one of our talented community artists at Lalor Neighbourhood House, has been featured in the City of Whittlesea’s Creative Catch-Up, celebrating her work as a visual artist, muralist and community arts practitioner.
With more than 15 years of creative experience, Bushra brings together vibrant colour, culture, nature and storytelling through her artwork. Her work is inspired by Indian folk traditions, Australian nature and the people and communities around her.
At Lalor Neighbourhood House, we’ve seen firsthand how Bushra uses her creativity to bring people together. Through our art programs, workshops and community projects, she encourages participants to try something new, share their ideas and express themselves through art.
Bushra is passionate about making art accessible and creating spaces where everyone feels welcome to take part. Her colourful and inclusive approach is a wonderful reflection of the community spirit we value at LNH.
We’re so proud to see Bushra’s creativity and community work recognised beyond our neighbourhood house and we can’t wait to see what she creates next!
