Busy Gardening Bees!
There’s been plenty of activity in our community garden lately, with our wonderful volunteers keeping everything thriving.
Li has become quite the expert weeder, carefully tending to the garden while gently exercising his injured shoulder. He truly enjoys his time outdoors, and it’s been great to see his confidence and skills continue to grow alongside the garden. In the above photo, Li is pictured with our Community Garden Facilitator & Data Evaluation Officer, Damian, capturing a great moment of teamwork and support.
We’re also excited to welcome our fantastic new volunteer Li, be sure to say hello next time you see him around!
A special highlight – Lachlan and his support worker Kellie, who were thrilled to pick their very first homegrown vegetable. Their excitement was contagious as they proudly showed off their f their freshly harvested turnip!
Moments like these remind us what our community garden is all about. It’s not just about growing plants, it’s about growing connections, sharing experiences, and creating a space filled with support, joy, and companionship.
So much love lives here in our garden!
