Celebrating Meredith’s Remarkable Journey at LNH

On 19 March 2026, we said a heartfelt farewell to our much-loved Co-Manager, Meredith, as she retired after a meaningful time with LNH.

To honour Meredith and the impact she has had on our community, we came together for a special lunch at Volcano’s, followed by a gathering in the hall on her final day. Across two days of celebrations, staff, committee members, and volunteers shared stories, laughter, and cherished memories, each one a reflection of the genuine connections Meredith has built over the years.

Meredith’s leadership has been defined by her compassion, dedication, and unwavering commitment to inclusivity. She has created a space where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and heard – something that will continue to shape LNH well into the future. Her ability to bring people together, support others, and lead with kindness has left a lasting impression on us all.

While we will deeply miss her presence, we are incredibly grateful for everything Meredith has given to LNH and the community. Her legacy is one of warmth, strength, and true care for others.

From everyone at LNH, we extend our sincere thanks to Meredith for her time, her passion, and the positive difference she has made in so many lives.

We wish Meredith all the very best in this next chapter and are so excited that she will still remain part of our community, joining us from time to time for fun activities and even helping out with collecting eggs!
(We can’t forget the eggs!)
