At Lalor Neighbourhood House, we support over 240 families including new arrivals, asylum seekers, people experiencing homelessness, and single parents.
We urgently need to raise funds to keep this essential program running.
Every week we provide:
90–100 food packs with fresh milk and children’s essentials
Healthy, culturally appropriate lunches for 50+ people
But this program is about more than food. It’s about connection, dignity, and belonging. We bring people together through workshops, community events, sewing and cooking classes, excursions, and even free haircuts.
We’re also incredibly proud that 8 volunteers with intellectual disabilities help sort and pack food each week, creating meaningful inclusion, purpose, and opportunity within our community.
Without this funding, many families will go without food and the vital support this program provides.
