As our year comes to an end, we completed our final harvest of the garden beds for 2025. It was a rewarding and reflective final week in the garden, made possible by the time, care, and commitment of our talented and dedicated volunteer gardeners.

Throughout the year, our garden has been a place of growth in more ways than one. Alongside working with a wide range of community groups and volunteers, the garden has provided a welcoming space for people to slow down, connect with nature, and connect with each other. Gardening offers the opportunity to step outside, engage in gentle physical activity, and experience the satisfaction of nurturing something from seed to harvest.

Spending time in the garden supports positive mental health and wellbeing by reducing stress, encouraging mindfulness, and creating a sense of purpose and belonging. Working together in a shared space helps build relationships, strengthen community connections, and reduce feelings of isolation.

We strongly believe in connection and engagement, and our neighbourhood house garden continues to be a space where everyone is welcome. Whether you are experienced or completely new to gardening, your contribution is valued, and there is always something to learn and share.

If you are interested in engaging with our neighbourhood house, getting involved in gardening, or simply spending time in a supportive and inclusive environment, we warmly encourage you to reach out to us.
We look forward to welcoming new faces and continuing to grow together in the year ahead.
