This week has been a truly special one for our art group, under the guidance of our wonderful art teacher, Ildi, our group explored new watercolor techniques and applied them to landscape painting and the results have been nothing short of beautiful.
It’s been amazing to watch people experiment with color mixing, light and shadow, and the flow of water on paper. Watercolor can be unpredictable, but that’s part of the magic and everyone embraced it with curiosity and confidence.

Ildi shared her thoughts on the group’s progress:
“First of all, I am very happy that people who participated last year in art class have come back for many reasons. They find a friendly, calming environment where they can learn and improve their artistic skills. We have new people as well, and all of us help them integrate into the group. I am very proud of everyone’s achievements and proud of myself for how I could use my knowledge and experience to build such a wonderful group.”

We couldn’t agree more. The growth we’re seeing isn’t just in technique, it’s in confidence, connection, and creative courage. Whether someone is picking up a brush for the first time or building on skills they’ve been developing for years, every single person is making meaningful progress.

A huge well done to everyone who took part this week. Your landscapes are full of character, and your willingness to learn and support one another is what makes this group so special. We can’t wait to see what you create next!
