The LLLC, Thomastown Neighbourhood House, Lalor and Thomastown Libraries, both Trader’s Associations, City of Whittlesea, Links Community Garden, Westgarth Town Association and many others all joined forces to host the highly successful Multicultural Community Arts Festival on March 19, 2022.
It was a fabulous day with art exhibitions, music and dance performances, workshops and children’s activities featuring activities in the Lalor shops and at LLLC. This was followed by an incredible range of activities at the Promisetown Picnic at the TRAC centre in Thomastown packed with markets, children’s activities, food stalls and much more!
Local school students and local artists submitted artwork between the Lalor Library and LLLC creating a beautiful outdoor gallery for over 2 weeks. The theme of art was celebrating our diverse cultures. More photos on their way, so watch this space.
