Adult Education

Lalor Neighbourhood House offers pre-accredited adult education courses.  We provide local learning for an international community.

Adults of all ages and abilities from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds can improve their reading, writing and speaking skills in a welcoming, professional and caring environment.

We specialise in English language courses for migrants and general education courses for those who feel that their schooling didn’t take them far enough. Our courses are designed to pick you up wherever you are on the learning pathway and can lead you to further study or improve your employability skills.  We can also provide one-on-one tutoring for people nervous about going back to a classroom!

Lalor Neighbourhood House has been providing quality Adult and Community Education locally for over 35 years.

Lalor Neighbourhood House is registered with the ACFE Board as a Learn Local provider of adult education.
