Great to see Bushra, our wonderful Community Artist, in front of our wonderful mural on St Luke’s wall on the front page of Star Weekly. It is part of a bigger project of transforming the Lalor Neighbourhood House and laneway, thanks to two grants from Victorian State Government – the Suburban Revitalisation fund from Dept of Planning and Transport and Sustainability Victoria. Thanks to all the volunteers, too many to name, who helped with these projects. But we do want to also acknowledge Ildiko Kormanyos and Alex Kerr for their help in creating the art that is transforming our area. Watch this space and come and join us as we embark on more murals, or join our social enterprise and start making arts, crafts and preserves to sell!
