Thanks to all the volunteers and staff from Lalor Neighbourhood House for a fabulous Summer Series Festival day in partnership with City of Whittlesea and the Lalor Library. The World Kitchen was fabulous! Maria showed everyone how to make gnocchi. Maria runs our Italian Social group every Monday and volunteers throughout the week in so many other ways. Check out Maria’s beautiful story filmed in our very own kitchen! And that is more than 55 years in Lalor! https://www.facebook.com/CityOfWhittlesea/videos/509649657906407

Paula, who works at LNH showed us how to make falafel!   Scroll across & down for more photos – just a smattering here that tells the story of a wonderful community festival. Thank you to Malena Dargham who took most of these wonderful photos!  We also launched our new name and the Lalor Refresh Project with the help of Min Andrew Giles MP, and Bronwyn Halfpenny MP. Find out more about our Lalor Refresh Project here. You must come see our murals and gardens as they develop over the coming months.
